Outlander seems to use front wheels rather than all wheels when 4WD is selected, tricky at roundabouts in the wet. Oil problem?

Hello,
The oil problem I seem to have is that it the engine oil appears dark and the transmission oil requires topping up after every 500kms.

The breaks are unreliable uphill , instead it must be balanced using the accelerator.

I was back looking for answers to your question, rather disappointed to find none. So far, I have been advised to drain or the oil and clean the cylinder, replace with clean oil. The front wheels you may need to keep the cumber in check/place (I have had to replace my front wheels after just 6 months. Hope this is helpful

But my rear shocks are disappointingly noisy, quite caught me by surprise actually but will put to the test after changing how long they can last.

Best regards

Damel
