Default Painting Question...

I want to paint the factory rims on my wifes Legend this weekend the car is white soI think the white rims will look nice. My question is
A) Do I need to prime and if so Recomended brands
B) What is the best kind of paint?

The rims have no scratches and I sanded them lightly all ready.

I'd use auto paint, that way you can add hardener to make it last longer.

I would use any automotive grade primer/sealer. As far as brands of Paint I would use either Dupont, or Sherwin Williams. Because they are rims I would also use acrylic enamel just to avoid the clearcoat stage in the process.

The wifes rims came out very nice I will post pics this weekend. Now I am thinking about painting my Factorys until I can save and get the rims I want. What do you guys think of Black Factory rims on a Black car?

Black on black always looks nice....but if you stay with that motif when you get your rims I would encourage you to get black with a chorme lip...That would look kosher.

Thats the plan. I am saving for just the right rims black with a polished lip but, until then I hope the black stock rims look ok
