... having and fixing up an 02 mitsubishi lancer? I want to power and detail mod it, but I dont know if it's worth putting all the money into it. Should I just save up and buy something better like an evo and fix that up??

 

"Worth", that is really up to you. I've seen turbo'd Lancers and they are quite fast. Having a stock N/A motor is a challenge that can be overcome. What's your Lancer worth to you is the question. Will you still wonder if you should have gotten an EVO and spent money on it like you envision or will your Lancer be enough for you? Can you afford to get an older EVO or do you want a new one?
I only ask this because for me, my car has sentimental value but I wanted more, so I made it worth the time and money I put into it. In the same sense as everyone who wants more out of their car. Ask yourself what it is that you really want to do. Then decide and do it [sm=smiley20.gif]
