Default stereo and warranty

hey does adding an aftermarkjet headunit to my 2004 outlander void the waranty and make it useless or something?

I don't see why it'd void the warranty... If it's professionally installed... Even if you put it in as long as you use the proper mounting methods and harness adapters it shouldn't. That was the first thing I did to my Sentra (Less than 2 months after I bought it LOL)

lol yeah i guess your right but i really want to make sure that it wont affect the warranty, im probably getting it installed at circuit city so thats another reason why it shouldnt

The dealer I go to usually tells me when something I do voids my warranty and gives me an opportunity to correct it. They only said they liked my new stereo the last time I was there. It will depend on how much of a ***** the dealer wants to be, but it simply connects to the factory wiring with a new harness. Call the dealer where your car will be serviced since they will be making those decisions for the most part and ask them.
