<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have a 2001 Eclipse GT and I have been having a problem with my Sunroof since I bought it in April of 2001. When it opens it kinda skips. I know they replaced the Sunroof like 3 times and did other stuff to it but after a a week or two of usuage it starts up again. I was wondering if anybody has had problems with that and what I can do about. Tired of taking it down and not being fixed.</FONT>

 

try a sunroof lubricant.. might just be drying out the tracks

 

Hey I have taken my 2003 GTS in 3 times for the same problem. They just tell me it needed grease. After a week it starts skipping again. I took it in just last friday and they said they fixed it. They tried to hurry me out. So just out of curiousity I tried the sunroof in the drive and I could have smoked a cigarette by the time it finished opening. I called the service writer out and he said he was imbarresed with the work of his techs. I demanded new tracks and sunroof and he said bring it in next week for the replacement.
