and what "UP" pipe are you talking about...is it the downpipe from the o2 housing that your looking for?

That is the downpipe, where it bolts to the o2 housing. You are looking for a donut gasket. It is not the same as the rest of the exhaust.

should be similar to this

well saying 3inch is a little vague. The o2 housing (unless yours is not stock) is not 3inch. The downpipe is. So you need on to fit a 3inch DP but the stock o2. and if I am not mistaken most downpipes are bottlenecked at the 02 housing so the stock donut gasket fits. I know my Megan racing exhaust polted right up with the stock donut gasket and that was 3inch all the way back

yea I have a 3 inch all the way back, so what your saying is there is a stock donut gasket on there right now and that should be all i need most likely.

yea, I reused mine on my megan 3inch exhaust I had on my 03 GSR VIII. I belive the aftermarket downpipes bottleneck. In otherwords the inner diameter on the pipe is actually not 3inch where it bolts up to the o2 housing
