Default Check Eng for EGR valve

My check engine light is on for low exhaust flow for my EGR valve. I have plated so that obvious why it is doing this. What I wanted to know is if anyone knows how to get it to go off or what resistance it needs on the sensor to tick it to think it is working. I work at Best Buy as a mobile installer so I have plenty of resistors or what ever it needs to get it to go off, cause the black electrical tape over the light just isn't cutting it lol. (don't post back just unhook the light to the CE bulb on the dash)

I dont think a single resister will solve your problem, the pcm controls the egr vacuum solenoid and energizes it and de-energize it. This is how it works on a 420a engine. So your better off just putting the egr valve back on.
