Cold Air Intake is good except when it rains. if you hit a deep enough puddle you will suck in water and damage your engine. if it doesnt rain much where your from them go for the cold air. oh cold air is great in the winter time.

I went the Short Ram air route.
Does'nt go as low so you don't worry about water, and still makes a decent power gain of about 4-7hp.
As for mpg, i've seen a couple miles difference for the better.

I've gotten about a 1/2 MPG better with my intake. That's if I can keep my foot out of it because it sounds soooooo good!

you dont have to worry bout water with a cold air either....becouse most of the time the heat from the motor will evaporate the water before it can do anything...now if you plan on driven in some flood wheather you are gonna have some problems.

Agreed with David. I never had too much of a problem with mine, until the water went over my front bumper... then BOOM! Dead motor. So be careful.
