well our cars are alot different than honda's they will have a lot deeper tone than them. Also i think sometimes it might have to get broken in a bit to get its true sound out of it. But i wouldnt worry too much about the sound. Its more the performance that the exhasut is good for

Hey guys. If I get a downpipe, will that also increase my hp? Is this a good idea? Also, the ones I am looking at have a 2.5" inlet and then a 3.0" outlet (which connects to my 3.0" Greddy Evo2 catback) Is this good, or should it be a 3.0" downpipe all the way?

Most down pipes go from 2.5 to 3 inch. You will gain some hp off the down pipe. If you dont have a cat you will probably not pass emissions. if you live in a place thats requires you to pass emissions to renew your tag get a hi flo cat instead. Most of the cars i have heard with the resonators off rasp out.

Does the downpipe replace the cat? Or can I buy a downpipe and a hi flow cat?

it depends on what type you get. Some brands do replace the cat and then some hook up to the cat so that you could buy a high flow cat to replace the stock

i believe megan makes a nice downpipe that you can get for around $100-200 i dont think it replaces the cat. But you would have to check to make sure on that

NO rasp on a turbo car with out resinators. the turbo absorbs all rasp sounds. it will just be loud
