Default Exhuast Question

I just purchase a magnaflow exhuast part number 11256 with a 2.5 inlet/outlet, my question is though is better to just change out the stock muffler or would the sound and performance be better noted with a 2.5 straight pipe from the stock cat deleting the resonator?

any help would be appreacaited

keep the resonator. If you take it out your car will be louder but i think it may get alittle raspy and judging by your choice in muffler your looking for a bit more deeper tone. Just replace the muffler

exactly, was looking for a deeper tone... so keeping the resonator would help that?

yes, like i said if you remove the resonator so will get a louder sound but it will be more raspy. Keeping it will make it alittle quieter but will make it alot nicer sound. Worst case you dont think its loud enough and dont really like the sound and you can always go back and remove the resonator
