97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sypder 2.4 Sohc motor......On the factory air intake box pipe that runs to the throttle body there is a circular opening under the piping.....does a hose go there???? And if so where does the hose run too??

 

do you have any pics? just from the description i would say it's the breather hose outletfor the valve cover.
