Default Looking for a Cold Air Intake

Looking for a cold air intake to fit my '90 Mighty Max.... can't find anything on the net. Does anyone know if there is a kit to make my own or an intake for another vehicle that would fit mine?

When shopping ram air is useless until ur reach 100+MPG, and any that extend behind the bumper are pointless. The best ones will have good filters that go behind the headlight, and an airbox is always ideal for keeping engine heat away. I don't know of any specifics for your application, but those are just tips to concider.

home depot sells pvc bends for pretty cheap. get some pvc, rubber hose connectors, clamps, and a decent air filter and make one! sounds like a fun project. if you really want a cold air intake find a spot where you can cut a circle, probably jus behind a headlight and send a pvc tube down it and attach the filter, just make sure you keep the bends smooth/minimal or your going to make performance worse off. another approach is a ram air filter made the same way but keeping the filter under your hood. if you want to keep heat out you can make a custom airbox out of sheet metal. you can cover it with heat resistant foam boarding. I did this myself, it was fun and i actually felt a difference. i can email you pictures if you want to get an idea.

Actually you should not put the airfilter under the hood. Especially on an eclispe or you will loose lots of horsepower esp. at top end. drill you a nice big whole and put it in you fender well that will work out fine.
