Default Low idle when coming to a stop ('08 Lancer ES)

Hi everyone,

I have a 5 speed Lancer ES. It idles perflectly fine (cold, warm, anytime), but when coasting to a stop while holding the clutch pedal in, (and often braking at the same time) the RPM dips to 500 or so, the lights dim and the blower slows down.

Do you have any advice on such a problem? There are no codes or anything else wrong. On my Forester when this happened it was oil filling up my IACV but could it be the same on this car? And where is the IACV?

Thanks!

Battery terminals, battery, throttle body, air sensor, much of these things tend to show when the rpm geos from a dramatic upvalue to a semi dormant mode. Habe you used any live odbii tools to see what your readings are? This can give you insite on what might be faulting. It could be many things more: intake hose, air filter, mass airflow sensors....

I just noticed that my sentence was incomplete. After dipping to 500 rpm it goes back up to 750 and idles fine.

Battery and terminals/cables are good

I dont have anything to monitor the cars vital sensors unfortunately
