RE: New car, void warranty
KEEP EVERYTHING YOU TAKE OFF. Becacuse if there is some reason you need to get something major down like engine or something you can put it back on and avoid a **** load of trouble. Been there done that

Did that on my 04 Outlander- it even passed emissions without CARB certified modifications (header). I didn't have any issues with the aftermarket intake, exhaust or pulley from either the dealer or emissions. I did however keep the stock manifold, DP and cat just incase- which I gave to the new owner- just incase.

RE: New car, void warranty
I work for a dealership..If you want to change your exhaust and put a custom one on you can go from the cat back without voiding the warranty but a full exhaust system will void the warranty..An air intake shouldn't void the warranty..Also you don't want to mess with the internals of the motor cuz that will void it as well...Always contact the service manager at the dealership and ask him about whatever modifications you're adding to make sure that it won't void the warranty before you go and do it.
