Please Help.....

Default Please Help.....

I have a '92 eclipse gs and the exhaust is always a black cloud, and when the car goes up a hill there was a type of like slug on the tip, what could fix this?

Check your coolant temp sensor.

Why replace the exhaust? Is it leaking. The black cloud you describe means you are running rich(too much fuel) This could affect your performance. A bad coolant sensor could cause this, another could be a leaky injector.

that couldnt have anything to do with the MAF sensor could it, i dont think it is but just a thought

Usually it would throw a cel, but I am not sure.
