Default RE: Short Air Intake Questions

hey man. good and cheap... don't go in the same sentance lol here's something to live by in the car world:
cheap + reliable = not fast
fast + reliable = not cheap
fast + cheap = not reliable
however since you have a 420a powered eclipse it really doesn't matter what kind of prodct you put on it. i'd just get a cheap one off ebay... go to advanced auto or wherever and get a K&N cone filter and bam.

as for installation... it couldn't be easier. It was the first mod i ever did to my car and with NO experiecne what so ever. all you do is unbolt the stock intake system form the throttlebody, then follow the intake down until you get to the part that comes off for the air filter and there you go. it's removed. there are a few other steps to take in order to take the entire stock intake system off which isn't hard but not necessary. let us know if we can help you out in any other way.

also, you may wanna post in the "2g Eclipse" section. that's the most popular thread spot on the whole forum and gets the most views.
