Yea, my friend has an 05 neon, his intake is loud as ****, it makes a really loud turbo sound even when he revs it a lil, and when he shifts, alot of people confuse it for an SRT-4.

But 2 breathers really do that?

Has anyone heard the K&N Typhoon CAI? I was thinking about replacing my AEM with one.

ORIGINAL: willdue
alot of people confuse it for an SRT-4.

they must be morons then lol... a SRT4 does not have a loud motor is has annoying exhaust. intake on a N\A car sounds lound and deep on a turbo car it just makes louder spool up sounds

and yes I have heard of the typhoon but AEM or injen are more popular and better quality intakes at least for the EVOs

dirtwagon"All u have to do is instead of the vacume line from the intake to the engine head, all u have to do is buy two breathers and hook them up one to the intake and one to the engine head. That's what ur friend must have done". Ok does this actually work? the reason why im interested in this is because i travel alot and when i travel i cant take my eclipse with me =(..im going to another country and the car i drive over there is A 1993 Subary LEgacy...i havent found anything for the engine =( i had to have a custome made intake ( its a pretty decent car it has about 140hp its not much but i cant really do anything to the engine =/) since i cant buy a Turbo for that car i was interested on what you said about the 2 breathers hooking them up to the intake and to the engine head..but how do i do this? can you give me more details..from what i know the breathers are like small intake heads..how em i suppose to connect them to my intake and the engine head?? im not that good with engines i just need more feed back

and about the fake turbo sound on ebay....do people actully buy that??? and do they actually work? first time i ever see that

all i read was the 1st post and gotta ask that you are joking, right?about the whole "turbo sound" thing, right?why do you want the sound without having the turbo itself to back it up with?think about pulling up next to some one with that...

Yes people actually buy that crap, mexican up their ride... You can electronic turbo sounds that come out of a speaker under your hood, a little fan thing that whisles from your muffler... just a bunch of crap that draws attention to a piece of crap car more than half of the time
