That's a good point but it doesn't look as good as a professionally made CAI. Also fitting can be a pain if you don't know exactly what you are doing with PVC.

you gotta be carefull with that stuff though the I4 intake manifolds are not that strong snd can crack easily at the throttle body flange

PVC piping?? never heard that. sounds kinda sketchy though.
a lot of things I've found when buying car parts, You get what You pay for.
Plus when a cop pulls you over, you have a better way of talking yourself out of a fix it ticket with an AEM or a INJEN product compared to PVC pipe or some cheap pipe off EBay.

well PVC pipe isnt uncommon, NESpeeds old GSX had a PVC intake on it that he painted and it didnt look bad. But again it is not real quaity

hmmm wow, i've seriously never heard of swaping out stock piping for PVC.
