i drive a Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 and i can’t find the switch for the heaters for my seats. I looked at some videoes that says it should be located on the side of the seats but its not there.
i can se there are wires that goes in to the seats but no switch.
any toughts? Help?
thanks in advance!
Find a good VIN decoder and see if the heated seats were an option for your specific vehicle. The wire going to the seat could be for the seatbelt, airbag, or other sensors. I am actually in the process of installing heated seats in a couple different cars that didn’t originally have them. With the mini I’m working on, the heated seat option has to be activated in the control module and for my Mazda so far it’s been plug and play (switches are lighting up and working as designed but I don’t have the seats yet so I don’t know of they are actually working).
i don’t know which way Mitsubishi went for their seats. But hopefully this helps a bit.
