Hey I drive a 98 eclipse and i was wondering if anyone had any good idea to where to put my 2 12's. Also, has anyone done any fiberglass to this model of car?

 

Take your backseat out...put them there! Thats what I did...hahah.

 

I would go with custom fiberglass. Try looking for a place that sells performance subs, amps, remote car starters, vehicle accessories and they will most likely offer custom sub enclosures. A single 12" will run about $250 in the passenger side recess in the trunk on a 3G.

 

i dont know if you you havent already had the situation figuered out or not but anyway .....what kind of subs are you putting? .... its def. gotta be custom ...what kind of music do you mostly listen to, anything in particular? ...and i ask what kind of subs because i dont know if youve ever had a system in a hatch before but one sub hits very nicely(also varies on brands), two subs is what i like, but it depends on what your set up is because it can easily become too bassy, and you wont even hear the lyrics, and then youd want to think about interiors....etc ...but hopefully everything worked out for you already

 

I plan on going with Eclipse Subs (no pun intended)...ill show you a diagram of how they will be fitted later when i get home.
