Default Drilling a hole in firewall

Ok, I'm trying to install an amp and I've gotten everything done great til I got to running the power wire...I thought it would be easy but I can't seem to find a hole in the firewall...I've been told that if I can't find one I need to drill one...So could anyone recommend where I should drill the hole?...

There has to be a hole because of other wires that run though. But usually it has a rubber grommet and is full of wires. But i ran my power wire along the door step and then up around the 1/4 panel. I think most people do this. But if your intent on drilling a hole your gonna need a good drill bit and basically you have to just get under there and try and find a place that you feel is safe.
