I have just taken delivery of a 2016 Outlander 2.2 4WD 6MT 7S. The dealer fitted a tow-bar + 13 pin Euro plug. Today I coupled it to my Caravan (2015 Compass Rallye) to check the electrics.
There is a problem with the lights! With the caravan hooked up, when I turn on the car side lights no lights work on the caravan and the off side lights go out on the car. The indicators work on car and caravan. Reversing lights OK, Fog lights OK, Alko Trailer stability OK and all the caravan internal electrics seem to be OK The Dealer here in Ireland seems to only have experience with ordinary trailers and not modern caravans. Has anyone any Ideas please.
