hay i got a 90 eclipse gs that i bought from a friend and my dash lights dont work and the fuses arnt blown and the light arnt blown can neone tell me what it is?????????

 

Ok first off its not excactly the alternator because sure the alt sucks its not a high watt alt but if you put the right farad cap in it should put your power hits back to when it was stock for example i have 05 Lancer ES and if i have my radio turned up all the way i take power hits and thats stock no mods to system gettin a better alternator or putting a 1 or 2 farad in stock system could solve that but when i put my system in i plan on puttin at least a 2 farad cap in and i might put a higher watt alt in a better battery yes helps but a cap and alt will fix it but a new alt is more money then a battery so if a cap and battery fix it then great it also depends on what type of amp you are runnin i will be runnin a 1000watt 2ohm stable amp so my advice would be put a 2 farad cap in and see if it helps then replace battery and if you are still takin hits go with a new alt
