Default 6 Bolt

Okay i have a 2ng TSI Talon i was wondering could i build a 6bolt non-turbo motor out of a 1gn and put it in my 2ng. I will be building it for turbo of course. Can i also use the 5bolt 4g63 head on the 6bolt block.

Yes you can but you will need a 6 bolt flywheel etc.. you can get a 6bolt install kit for a 2g on www.slowboyracing.com

there is no 5-bolt they are 6 and 7 bolt. Your talon has a 7 bolt and the 1990-1992 eclipses had the 6-bolt.

yea i believe so, you just need to do some minor rewiring of the cam sensor. I think most people that do the swap actually keep the stock 2g head
