My son has a 2000 Eclipse that we bought last week with about 105,000 miles on it wih anon DOHC engine.We changed the oil yesterday and now we havea lifter tick but it sounds like more than one. I think it maybe a pluged lifter/lifters is this a commen problem?? I'm a GM guy and I don't know much about these cars. Help please. Thanks!!!!

 

yeah its probably lifter tick, my friend had a 2000 eclipse and hes got it, i had it on my 93. i would have to say that most of the cars have lifter tick. kinda common
