My 1998 3000gt SL has a problem shifting gears (automatic tranny). When accelerating, it will shift back down into a lower gear from a higher one. It does this more when cold and when the OD is on. Can anyone give me an idea as to what the problem might be? The endclutch has been rebuilt and the tranny fluid and filter replaced.

 

Start with checking the trans fluid condition and level.

 

Was wondering if you had ever figured out what the problem was?
