i have heard that 3000GT's have bad tranny problems. i just found out today that i have to replace my mass air flow sensor(the metal and plastic thing). we thought it was the TPS or the IAC. nope we were wrong its going to cost me $305 for a new. and i still have to buy a new hood, fender, mirror and headlights assembly. im thinkin of takin a $3000 loan out

shes learning and i dont give in and let her drive inless she drives her jeep. her not knowing how to drive a standard landed me my second eclipse. i have tried to show her a 100times but she cant get the feel of a clutch. not even the clutch on my four-wheeler.

Yikes, after reading about how y' all seem to hate your 3000GTs, I think I'm going to go with a Honda (as my Honda was more reliable than my Eclipse), or a Jeep. Thanks for helping me change my mind, before ending up with another bad car.

I have a stealth (same car if you didn't know) and I love it. I have not had any troubles with it other than regular maint. items. It has 144k on it.The 6g72 motor is a good motor that is plenty tough. Try to find a lower mileage one that has maint. records. If over 60k make sure the 60k maint has been done. This is one of the most important and oft overlooked aspect to owning one of these cars. If you want plain vanilla, go ahead and get a Honduh, but if you want something more get a 3kgt.
