Default 3000gt crazy sound system

hey everyone I was letting some people know about a huge project me and my brother are doing all by ourself. I have a 96 3000gt that we have completely taken out the back of the car pretty much. the seats the trunk behind the seats. What we are doing is putting in a sound system. i wil have some pictures up here soon from. I am taken pictures of the step by step we make daily. Everythin for the sound system is gunna be fiberglassed black. I am just putting a 10 inch 500 watt sub and a 600 watt amp to power the sub. The sub is gunna be right behind the seat where the rear seats were at. I put the sub in the middle. so it splits the center of the car. As of right now I am going to hide the amps just because there is nothing flashly as far as size goes. Once i get some more money I am going to get a 2000 watt sub and a amp to make it sound perfect. When I do were gunna put it in the rear of the trunk and make it visible. I am also replacing all of my speakers in my car. The orignal infity that come with the car the guy who had it before me took them out, not sure why. I bought another pair of infinity kappa series tweeters and door speakers with a crossover. I also got some rear speakers 6x9's. All of the speakers can handle up to 300 watts. I also bought a equalizer. I have also bought a 4 chammel amp with 600 watts for just the high's and mid's. So like i said I'll have some pictures up for everyone to see.

Sounds good, why not just get an Alpine swx-1242d (12" 1000w rms 3000w peak) that would give you more than enough bass if you powered it with a pdx-1.1000 (1000w @4ohm x 1) For the components, use a pdx-4.150 (150w x 4 @4ohm) powering 2 x spx-177r (6.5" 75w rms 300w peak) and 2 x spr-69c (6x9" 100w rms 300w peak.

If you buy on ebay.
Amp = $385
Sub = $222
6.5x2 = $170
6x9 x 2 = $87

Total = $864

Not really a bad priceif you think how much you'd pay at retail

Yea well I am goin got upgrade but really a ten inch sub is more then enough for this car just becuase the fact that the sub is inside the car. I wil be upgrading the watts on my sub and sub amp 2 about the same amount of wattts. Plus also i paid a lot less then 900 dollars including the fiberglassing. I got the MA audio sub for 75 and the amp. My brother was selling so I bought it off of him. Then I got a awesome EQ for only 60 then the infitiy component kit i only paid 80 for becuase my brother had someone selling them and they are brand new never used. Just a lil older model. Then i got 6x9's for only 50 dollars. I also am getting a 4 channel sub for 50. The thing that is killing me tho is the fiberglass resin. Also i traded my old amp for the MA audio amp to my brother. So that helped

eq=60
10 inch sub and amp=75
4 channel amp=50
infity componint kit=80
6x9's=50

all in al only bout 310 for all my electronics inthis stage of the car. I will be upgrading my head unit right now i havea cheapp sony that was already in the car when i bought it. I'm stil not sure what i am getting but i do want a flip out tv
