ok i have been debating on buying a vr4 or stay with my gsx what i was wondering is if anyone know fastest and average qm time on the vr4 if it beets 7.976 qm like shep racings 1g tsi then i will switch i like body on vr4 better and no one has one in my town but there is a million eclipses the prob im having with the vr4 is the wait diff what i heard is that the vr4 weighs 7000 lb that is a tank if that is true

 

Your figure on the curb weight is WAY high. The VR4 weighs approx 3800 lbs. And an eclipse with a 7.49 qm?? What the hell is in the thing a jet engine. Alcohol dragsters run mid 6's

Thanks for the link. I was actualy reading about it already. In my opinion no you are not going to get a VR4 to run a 7.967, but you are realisticaly not going to get many cars to do that. Especially keep it a daily driver. But you can get plenty of speed out of a 3kGT, and you look so much better doing it too.

 

ya i checked out the that tsi that is one bad *** ride dose it still hold the world record ? ya i never thought the vr4 had the same potential as a gsx or a tsi but they sure do look good i love the lines on the 3k

Why are you talking about the best 1/4 mile times, you will never get a car there, never mind even the 11's I bet. So it really doesn't make any sense to me for it to make it a deciding factor, kind of stupid. This discussion is close, do a search for really information.
