Hahaha yea I have almost the same car. Mine is a black 95 base with leather also. Yea it looks like it is a base to me. One way to check, and anybody feel free to correct me if I am wrong, is check the console. Is your A/C system Dial operated or Electronic Climate Control. If it has dials/twist ***** then it is a base. Hope that helps!

 

That only applies to the 1st generation which is 91-93. The SL had digital climate control in those years. It was dropped from the SL in 94 up which got the manual controls like the base. Even my 96 base model came with an Infinity 6 speaker system with CD changer. I got it when it was 2 years old and had 18k miles.

Mr. 3000, are you sure you don't have an SL too? Do you have the ECS button on the right side of the gauge cluster trim? Do you have ABS?

 

funkdoobiest, I don't have any badging for the SL. I don't have a manual though so yea but I mean if I actually have an SL I got jipped because I don't have a sunroof. LOL. I don't think I have an ECS button unless I haven't seen it. On the right side of the guage cluster I only have a button for Rear Window Defrost and Rear Wind Shield Wipers. I will check again today when I drive. What does it look like? What does it do?
