Has anyone simply changed the Infinity OEM head with an aftermarket radio/cd by getting a harness and using ally the existing wiring and amp under the seat.

Have read that sometines folk bypass the OEM amp with a bypass harness, and others say that they hace just connected and wired up to the OEM amp.

Anyone had success on doing an aftermarket radio swop by themselves? Do you need the amp or not?
