Default Changing a 5-speed to 6-speed transmisson

Can you change a 5 speed transmisson tomake it a6 speed transmission on a VR4.? is it expensive?

Yes, you will need a rear diff, transaxle, transfer case, driveshaft and shift linkages from a 6 speed car. Expensive...I doubt it will be cheap to buy all these parts.

Is there a difference in speed by a 5 speedand 6 speed transmission, or would both transmissions be equal?

if youre looking to beef up your 5spd, buy a 25 spline transmission from a newer model. that drops right in

eh..?
The only 5 speed cars that had an 18 spline transfer case were the 91's and some early production 92's.
