RE: clicking noise
yea i will probably change my oil first before i buy lifters. its weird though it doesn't really do it when i first start it, i might hear one or two ticks then it will stop but after in warms up it will start again and not stop at all until it cools down and i start it again, but i'll try oil change since its cheaper then the lifters after that i don't know, guess i'll go to lifters after that.

RE: clicking noise
i just have one question before i go out and buy the lifters, is there anything else that can cause this sound. sounds like lifter tick, but i do hear lifter tick when i first start it but it goes away and then it starts ticking again after it warms up, can this be anything else?

RE: clicking noise
All the gunk you broke free during the seafoam treatment is clogging the oil passages. You did allude to the fact that it got worse after you did the treatment...right? New lifters won't fix that problem.
If you do plan on changing the lifters, you just as well do a full 60k service on it while you are there. You have to take the timing belt off anyway, just as well do the whole job.
If you think your oil passages are clogged, you could do an old shade tree fix... put diesel in your crankcase start and idle for a little while (like 5 minutes), shut down, change oil, warm up to operating temp, change oil again, run for awhile, change oil again. Most or all of the diesel should be gone with 2-3 oil changes.
