Default CRANK POS SENSOR OR BAD ECU

I need some advise. I am having an intermittant problem wherein my 91 3000gt stumbles and sets a trouble code. After shutting the car off for awhile it will restart with no problem then run with no codes or problems for awhile then it will start all over again. I checked the codes and get a code 22 and 23 which come up as a crank angle sensor and a TDC sensor problem. I have been reading and find that it is not uncommon for a computer in this car to go bad also. Is there any way to tell the difference. I as because the sensors run around 500 dollars as does the computer and I hate to throw good money after bad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
