fitting question for rims.

fitting question for rims.
I have a 94 3000GT and am looking to put some new rims on it. I found some 18" rims off a 05 Dodge Magnum RT. The specs given are a 225/60R18 tire on a rim with a 5x114.3mm bolt pattern(Same as 5x4.5"). My question is will these rims fit? I am wondering if I'll need to get wheel spacers to get the proper backspacing. I don't know the current offset of the rims, but as soon as I get this number I'll post it. Anyone know what backspacing the 3000's have? Thanks.

RE: fitting question for rims.
Ok first off your offset stock is 43 so most after market rims will be 42. The Eclipse rima will fit with the 114.3 or 4.5 the rims off the Magnum may not clear the break callipers and the offset would cause them to rub the fender well. The other thing is the tire size the 225/60/18 the 60 is 60mm in height from the rim or thickness if you like that is going to be into your shock or front strut tower where the spring sits. I am running 17" Momo Rims and only skinnie tires right now Toyo 215/40/17 they have about an inch and a half of space. My old rims the 16" stock had 225/55/16 tires and only had about a half inch clearence. So the height of the tire in thickness not the rim makes a big diffrence. The www.tirerack.com has a tire size guide you can pick the Stealth or 3000gt and they show a picture of the car and you can put diffrent size tires and diffrent rims on its a stock car so you will know. Hey for about $1400.00 you can get some trick shocks and the tire size wil not matter as much. So I do not think the Magnum rims will fit but I would check that out closer look on Ebay some times people sell the stock rims and they have a fit chart you can look up to see what fits what so if it fits a Gallant or Eclipse I think your in the game. But this is the web and everything you here is all BS check it out close. Rice Is Nice word from the Old Dude.
