Default Get what you pay for?

I'm looking into buying a used 3000gt vr4 and Ive found a few across the internet (mostly eBay) that are selling for a really good price (a 94 vr4 went for about $9000 in "great condition") and I was just wondering if buying a vr4 at a lower price would be worth it. A lotof the used cars I have bought in the past have pretty much been junk because I thought i found a great deal, but it turns out I got what i paid for. Any advice would be great.

Default RE: Get what you pay for?

anything with high miles you will really want to know if the 60k tune up has been done. and of course low miles are better. but, if the 60k tune up (timing belt, water pump, etc.) hasn't been done you can look forward to spending roughly 1000 dollars to get it done right out the gate.

but, keep looking for more, this is just a little something for you to start with.

good luck
