Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

Is this a good idea

I have my 94 DOHC 24 valve 3000gt I accidently sent this guy a a mail thinking he was a dealership saying i can use my car as a down payment for a vr4 come to find out it was a private seller saling his but he agreed but he said it needs a rear turbo that it does not run but i told him the only way i can trade is if the car is in working condition and he emailed me saying if he fixes it the price will go up and he might not want to trade but than again he like they way my 3000gt looks his is a 92 vr4 with a 109,000 miles but i dont know if it is a good idea can any one help me out on this deal should i trade and pay or a even trade let me know guys appreciate it thank you

i wouldn't do it. i've learned not to even think about selling a perfectly working car for one that doesnt run. the past few months i was trying to find a project car and sell my 3000gt. but it's not worth buying a vr4 that doesnt run because then how are you supposed to know of any other problems that may not come out until it's running again. do yourself a favor and just save a little bit longer for a working vr4 like i've decided to do. plus for a 94 3000gt you really don't need much more money to buy a nice working 1st gen vr4.
