Default Grinding/humming noise

There a 1991 3000GT SL 5-Spd 141,000 miles. With new clutch, new transmission. But theres an loud huming/grinding noise coming from the rear of the car. I was test driving it and when sitting in the passenger seat i felt shaking from the right rear tire. I drove it and it was great but the noise was loud what could it be. Thanks

Grinding and humming are 2 completely different sounds. You'll need to be more specific as to what you are hearing. Grinding can be coming from the brakes or a completely failed wheel bearing that had fallen apart. Humming- could be from your tires or from a wheel bearing that has failed but is still together. Either of them can be determined with a simple inspection.

I would be its a wheel bearing. Does the noise change when you turn left or right?
