Default GT3000 antenna removal

Anyone has removed and installed the automatic rear antenna on a 1993 GT3000. I can't seem to be able to remove the antenna. Any help would be great. Maybe a website with pictures OR some very good step by step procedure. Thanks in advance

Yeah, follow those online instructions and it won't be a problem. That's what I used when I had to do it, and no problem. Just be prepared to remove a bunch of trim pieces, and possibly have to jump in and out of the trunk area time and time again :-p

mine was a problem too. I ended up going to Advance and getting a Universal electric antenna for like 50 bucks. replaced the entire thing. Not that difficult, just takes some time will all the trim you have to remove to access it.

works great now!
