Default has any one else bought an older VR4 and done a conversion

on the headlights and stuff? I wanted to originally get a newer one but i just read that the motor made significantly less hp in the newer ones than the older ones. and i saw a pic of someones 92 that looks better than any 95+ that i've seen. and he said he prefers the older models to the newer ones. Does anyone else feel this way?? Has anyone else done a conversion on it?? I would wanna change my headlights to the 99. (which he did...so if anyone else wants to say it cant be done.....) different hood and such obviously.

anyways anyone have any opinions on this??

The VR-4 models actually got a 20hp bump in their 2nd generation, from 300 to 320. Many people have added the 99 front end and lights to their 1st gen cars.

I like the 1st gen Stealths better than all the rest. I just think they look better, and I like the pop-up headlights.

I would try to avoid buying someone elses "problems." You could be setting yourself up for heartache.

Hi, I have A 92 with the conversion. A lot people say it is exspensive to do the conversion but if you have a local Mitsu recycle yard than it is a lot cheaper than you would think. Your going to need headlights, hood, headlight pans and radiator support, front bumper. Istead of paying for a stock bumper I upgraded with the Pitroad M body kit. I also converted the lights to HID. I figured I might as well.

hope this helps alittle.
