I have a blown 3000gt base model motor....the cost to rebuild is 1800.00 now i was wondering if i should look for a vr4 motor to put in it or just make it simple or go ***** deep and get a vr4 motor? advice please

 

for a GOOD VR-4 engine, without turbos, will run you about $1500, with turbos, about $2200, and that doesn't include the ecu, injectors, manifolds, plenum, intercoolers, IC piping, etc, etc. You're looking at close to 4-5k for everything.

A VR-4 engine itself, will be slower, if you install it without the turbos.

You can buy a replacement N/A DOHC engine for about $1000 or so, and be done with it.

 

yeah i was leaning towards the easiest way lol thanks i think im gonna drop a na motor in it and get a bike
