Information on Buying
I'm looking at buying a mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 because i love the car, but only problem is i'm a student and although money isn't quite tight i don't want to be busting the bank on repairs. Now i do realize this is an old car and it will need repairs but could anyone ballpark how much i should have saved up extra to be safe with repairs and not have the car just sitting in the driveway? I am aware this is a kind of dumb question because it will always be different but with your experience with them if i bought one for around $10,000 would like an extra $5000 put aside for repairs be enough?
Thanks
Thanks
Hi . I have 94 SL 5speed that i pretty much modded with bolt-ons and other stuff except brakes, suspension, and headers. I am constantly looking for a vr-4 thats a good price from 94 and up. mileage doesnt really concern me that much. do you know of anything of that nature?
thanks
thanks
depends how much you're willing to spend. you'll end up with a money-pit and a huge headache if you're looking for a "great deal". I'll tell you the same as I've told everyone... pay more upfront for a quality car, and you'll spend less in the long run.
