Default liquid leaking, NEED HELP

96 base model 3000gt
i pull into my drive way and i could smell something burning, i look on the road and i could see some type of fluid in a trail. i look under the hood and see some fluid on the transmission. my clutch was feeling a little different, soi looked in the master cylinder reseviour it was low, i added fluid to it and drove5 miles and the reseviour was still the same. im not sure if it is the transmission fluid or clutch. My one friend says it only seems to be leaking (on the ground)as i am holding on the clutch coming to a stop, is when its most noticeable. shifting is easy and it doesn't grind gears.

is there a hose, plug, or something else that could of broke or come off. if so what should i be looking for.

my car also has a exhaust leak, which reptured on the highway, maybe breaking something that has to do with the leak? exhaust leak broke right before the catalytic converter and the flex plate.

ill craw under the car tomorrow and look for further investigation. idk

If it is leaking onto the transmission, it is either the slave cylinder or the clutch line. The slave cylinder is under the battery tray.

The exhaust problem is unrelated.

I will agree with the stealth on this one. I guess you just have to find out where its coming from. Not easy.. could be any place along the clutch hydraulics.
