hi guys, can anyone help me, i have a mitsubishi gto model 92 it has a dohc 3.0 turbo engine. the problem is that it only starts when a warning light in the dash appears, i think its the sign for the catalytic converter. it looks like an exhaust pipe with wavy lines on top. and when the car starts it shuts off again in a few seconds. then you have to wait again for the sign to appear before it starts again. hope someone out there can help me with my problem.

 

Hey there. I have a 91 mits.3000gt and I have had some starting issues with my car also. The first time I had issues, I had to replace the ignition, however, I had started having a starting issues again. I took my car into a mechanic and he said that my alarm system for the car was interfering with my starting system, so he just took it out....and now the car starts fine. I have found that the 3000gt has electrical issues a lot, so it could really be anything.
