6psi is way to low for a vr4, so there is probably an issue with that. Maybe i would try checking out the turbo to make sure it is getting the proper oil and spooling correctly. But before even getting into that, you want to check your distributer like jdmvr4300 said. Start with the basics and you might end up saving yourself a lot of time. Can you describe how it sounds when it hits 5k? Is it missing or what? How does it drive?

well rite when it gets to about 5 grand it just stops climbing, it almost seems like its loaded up, it doesnt miss or anything like that just doesnt want to rev, does anyone think the injectors might be clogged since its been sitting soo long ???

Check distributor
Check distributor
So when you sitting still, not in gear. And you floor it will it climb all the way to 7, or does it get to 5 and stop? Where are you seeing the 6psi? the stock gauge? It sounds like your engine is not getting enough air. Is it smoking at all? If so what color is the smoke?
