Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

hey everyone i just bought a '95 3000GT 3.0L V6 (Z15A 2WS) and wanted to get a feel on whether or not i just blew my bag or invested in something half decent

It's the basic model with the 5 speed manual (its NOT the SL).. did I just f*** myself for buying this? I eventually want to turn it into a daily driver, so my logic was that the basic would be more reliable (+affordable since this will be my first project car) with less things to go wrong. Am I right in thinking this? Or am I right to believe the reviews saying that the base model was a disgrace to the 3000GT legacy?
