new problem

well i got a new problem with my car. the strangest thing just happened, i was driving home from a friends house and just down the road at a stop sign i stop and it stalled. now it was running fine just before i got there. now it wont go into gear without stalling, it starts, idles at an average 250 rpms but right when it goes into any gear it stalls. i dont have any idea whats going on but im getin really tired of this. if anybody can help it would be great. its a 93 3000gt sl.

I would start by cleaning the IAC. Do a search on Stealth316.com for testing and removal instructions.

Idle Air Controller (sometimes its referred to as a ISC; Idle Servo Control). It basically does what it says, controls air flow at idle.

Your idle speed is supposed to be 750 RPM with AC off. If it is an automatic, it should be 1000 RPM.

well its dead! the transmission is shot! so its goin on blocks for a while and im gettin somethin else. ill eventually get it fixed but im ganna save for a while. im gone but not out! lol
