New Project Car
Well I got lucky and got a 1997 3000gt with 120,000km/ 75,000miles for $3000CDN/3600US
The owner said the car was pretty much pooped he said the cars engine was shoot I asked whats wrong with the engine he said the cams, block, everything was pretty much broken and had to be replaced.... I thought this was alittle weird I asked if it started the owner said yes... So of course I took it for a spin and I pushed it and I said nothings wrong with this car at all... I came back and told the owner I didnt push it or anything like that cause the engine is pretty much shoot and I said I would take it for $3000 The car is pretty much fine with some problems the A/C just dosent work... Anyhow now the car sits in the driveway already to be the new Project car...
The owner was in his 40's and had no clue what he was talkin about....

Hey "thekid" -
Be careful with what you do - from your other posts you have some learning to do. Welcome to the platform, but it is a bit on the finicky side. Thankfully too, the 6G72 is a surprisingly solid motor, so regardless of how well it runs there could still be problems with the engine.
You should check out www.us3s.org and www.3si.org for more info on the platform - there are a lot of quirks which are unique to our cars (just as any other platform) that may redefine your knowledge of vehicles to a degree.
