Default Power window failure

Hey guys & gals, My driver's side power window just quit working out of the blue! The power locks work, but the window switches will not; even the switch that controls passenger door from driver's door will not control pass window. The passenger window works fine. I checked all fuses, fine. I ordered another power window/lock switch for dr side, but it's still the same. Dead on driver's side. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you considered a wire shorting your circuit out? You may have one dangling somewhere that you can't see. I'd trace them out and make sure you have good, solid connections. Other than that, I dunno man. Mine went out a couple years ago (at the same time as the window motor/regulator gave out); all I had to do was plug and play, though. Good luck!
