Default speakers

ive got a 99' VR-4 the front passenger side dash tweeter is blown... ive heard that to replace the speaker you dont have to tear apart the front of the dash... can anyone tell me how to replace those speakers w/o ruining anything?. This car is my baby nothing has ever been done to the veh and is completly stock however, i will be starting to tune the veh to get some more power... damn new technology ... any ideas on what i should do first? at this point im not interested in any major changes but would like some ideas on increasing to around 360-400hp.

Default RE: speakers

They should just pop right out. The real problem will be finding a replacement speaker. There hasn't been a direct replacement made in a number of years. Most people have to do some modifications to adapt a speaker to fit. I mounted a 1" tweeter from a component speaker set in the stock mount. It's not easy, but it can be done.
